Semto is a start-up SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) company based in Cornwall, UK. Semto began trading on the 19th of July 2010 bringing years of cumulative experience to the SEO services industry and its clients.

Semto provides green SEO

Semto employs green practices in its day to day work, uses recycled paper and even resides in the only carbon neutral office building in Cornwall! Semto is also careful about the level of printing we do, while sometimes unavoidable Semto make an effort to reduce our carbon footprint wherever possible.

About our offices

The Pool Innovation Centre is a state of the art, carbon neutral building in Cornwall - the only one of its kind. Assessed using the BREEAM assessment method the building scored an Excellent rating (the best rating!).
The building achieves this high standard with:

• Windowmaster automated venting for windows is utilised to maintain a consistent temperature throughout the building, without letting heat escape in the winter months.
• A grass roof has been implemented to ensure minimal heat loss
• A biomass boiler is used that burns wood pellets for a 50% carbon reduction
• The toilets are flushed with rain water
• A cold water storage tank is unnecessary as the taps are rigged up to the mains water supply; this ensures water does not go to waste that is left stagnant.
• The heating is controlled by state of the art equipment computer systems which thermaly controls the whole building centrally.
